Sep 16, 2019 Bruh.. cmon TES era Eminem raps circles around any Kendrick era. You can argue his overall spot because of the lows he’s produced since then but nobody in the history of rap is f---in with a prime TES em. TES is leaps and bounds better than GKMC imo - and I have GKMC in my top 20 rap albums of all time. TES was a masterpiece that reflected the most well rounded talent we’ve ever seen. Crazy today to call em well rounded but in that era we were watching 2-3 years of the best to ever do it at their respective peak in my opinion

All fckin classic songs, sometimes you guys just don't think imo, there's no other explanation. P.s. Same weeks' number, but TES is 13x platinum, GKMC 3x.. Things change.

Sep 16, 2019 And what's crazy is that he produced the majority of the album himself. He's also did most of the hooks. Rarely do you see an artist being hands on with the entire process of making an album. h---, a lot of people these days don't even write their own lyrics, let alone produce their own songs. For me, the TES era is the best version of Em. It's him at his pinnacle. MMLP is fantastic also but feels more raw. The overall vibe doesn't appeal to me as much as TES but I have nothing against people ranking it above TES. Most people do. It's very close imo.
