Feb 1, 2021 I really hope the Biden administration doesn’t make the same mistakes re: immigration that the Obama administration did. These mass deportations need to stop. They’re cruel, unnecessary & just a waste of tax payer dollars. To be fair though, Biden did issue a 100-day moratorium on deportations that was struck down by a federal judge.
Feb 1, 2021 He’s expected to sign some EO on immigration on Thursday so we’ll see how that goes. I like his immigration plan a lot, especially the 8 year pathway to citizenship. No chance it passes with the filibuster intact though. Biden was never an abolish ICE candidate so yeah, the concentration camps will sadly remain. I just hope there’s less people in them.
