    koolo was right back in january about this being a recovery style 180 in his career.

    he changed his musical style & dropped the rock & radio disney s---, changed his collaborrative team (not a hint of alex or skylar or rubin), finally killed off the slam poetry deep voice rap. he quit his 20+ track formula that plagued his albums with filler.

    things have changed for the better.

    I don't know about being the most legit Hip Hop head on here but thanks. I sort of like half of the album and don't like the other half. I think using the Revival criticisms to fuel his music worked to a certain extent but I still think the album has plenty of Revival in it. I think he's at his best when he's focused on attacking specific rappers and Hip Hop in general. But the love songs and some of his cadences are still a bit cringey. Fall is my favorite track on the album.
