mmlp2 has some of the best written verses em's ever made imo, just maybe not the best sounding.

It's not that deep.

Imo it felt all over the place. Maybe it was the song placement, don't know. It had some good songs but as an album as a whole it felt out of place. Probably could have removed some songs.

When you listen to TES or MMLP or even Relapse, Recovery as an example. All his albums. They all have a recurring sound. MMLP2 just sounds all over the place and has no direction. Some pop songs, some rappity rap. It just has no overall theme.

Calling it MMLP2 was also a dumbass idea. What a disgrace to a classic album.

Great interview.
Still scared that Em might go back to his Wokinem phase and create another Revival.
I don't really mind him apologizing for the usage of the word fa----.
Growing up and maturing is always appreciated and I'm proud that he has grown so much.
But he should've not apologized for that during an album that brought back the side of him that we all loved. This makes the entire album look like a cash grab of sorts low-key. I still love it though.
It's great that he apologized, but in my opinion it wasn't the right time.
