Been reading through this thread, I dig some of the conversation. Some elitist statements regarding Techs more party based tracks but community cool here. I just listened through and loved All 6s And 7s, every track was dope. Gonna listen Clusterfuk next. After I bump more projects I'll post in here often also, hyped 2 get into Techs discog and other Strange artists.

Tbh all 6s and 7s, special effects and ever ready (in that order) are the least corny of his discography. Strangeulation isn't too bad either

If you're looking for the other artists, Mayday is probably my favourite band/artist on the label. Recommend starting with Take me to your leader then going chronologically.

Looks dope looking at the tracklist, Interested by the Jay Rock feature. looks like mostly Strange people 2 and more solo tracks than the s--- I heard.

@BuffaloBoy V The World I second listening to mayday. They are my favourite artist on the label. Take me to your leader and believers are both great, however mursday is by far their catchiest album for me.

Anghellic, Absolute Power, Vintage Tech, Everready & K.O.D. are his best albums. In that order for me.

Mentioned this before, but Tech's prime IMO was 99-06...After that he went for quantity over quality, trying to rush out solos, collabo albums and then EPs way too fast. Quality suffered.

His rapping style was also different in that era...Tone of voice was deeper & more aggressive & his flow & rhyme schemes were just better and more creative IMO. Better beats/hook/song concepts & he murdered every verse and guest verse.

I miss the old Tech & his old style, but he's still been my favorite rapper the last 10 years too. But he has released some hit or miss & below average projects since then: Gates Mixed Plate, EBAH, Therapy, Strangeulation Vol. 2 & now The Storm IMO...

He desperately needs to work with different producers. Not only for better beats but to challenge him too. He's too used to Seven and Seven's just being overworked and is getting stale. But Im sure the next collabos album will still be full of mostly Seven...

I loved MLK. Probably my favorite collabo album. Also the last 4 songs on killer are f---ing great. Best string of 4 songs he has out.

I'd say KOD or anghellic, feel like I'm forgetting something though.

Also if you tend to prefer the dark stuff that's another reason to avoid Gates mixed plate, that's the one album where he was gonna stop doing the dark/depressing s---.
