Your point is not lost and it is perfectly valid, but you also have to word your criticism so that it is constructive. Your comment is not constructive and doesn't help anyone improve. Music is extremely subjective and "quality not quantity" doesn't actually apply to all circumstances of music.

I suggest that next time, you provide specific examples of how you want X to improve in as friendly or neutral tone as possible. For example "Hey Tech, I just finished listening to X album for the third time. I think there's a lot going on in this album which is hurting the listening experience. Tracks like Y and Z have specific issues such as X,Y,Z."

You get the point I hope.

I admit I should give more developed opinion but if you find something vague you should ask clarifications instead of throwing a bunch of assumptions plus I wasn't even rude.

"Quality not quantity" is a negatively toned comment and can definitely be construed as an attack. But even more important than that, it really shouldn't be the responsibility of the recipient of criticism to ask for clarification on what you mean. Criticism, whether positive or negative, should be laid out as clear as possible when given so that it can't be misinterpreted.

Furthermore, just imagine how many criticisms a musician like Tech gets. A well constructed criticism stand outs as useful feedback.
