I just only kept listening to rap from then on. Linkin Park fell off and I only heard from Offspring again when they dropped that video that had a dog, can't remember the name of the song.

When your favorite Metallica song is one from their most hated era.

Bro, you need to check out SOAD and Metallica discography.

That's the only song I heard. And I thought I was dope tbh.

I checked Prince's music last year for the first time for example. Worst part is I didn't like it except for a few songs :emoji_sweat:

I just quoted part of your post. It's not the name of a song.

But I highly suggest listening to Toxicity if you want to start with a SOAD album. It's their magnum opus.

Then you can try Hypnotize and Mezmerize. They're more mainstream and "catchy" then their first 2 albums.

You should honestly listen to all Metallica albums from Ride The Lightning to The Black Album.

The last Metallica album was great also. Back to form. Probably their best album since Black Album.

But metal is not everyone's cup of tea. If you tell me what metal songs you like I might be able to give you suggestions that better fit your taste.

Corey Taylor's new mask....new mask means new album. This mask is f---ing disturbing very creepy and I love it. Good call back to the original crash test dummy mask.

Jfc the slipknot masks and the bands aesthetic kinda remind me of rob zombie's movies if that makes sense lol

It might be because of his Halloween reboot where Michael was making all those f----- masks in the psych ward

It's super hard for me to pick favorites with anything so I like most of the big slashers I just recently watched the exorcist and most of the first conjuring (fell asleep cause tired need to rewatch) thought they were pretty good. It's not a movie but I really like haunting of hill house but moreso for the general storytelling and idea than the horror elements. also have plans to watch hereditary which should be interesting

I know I'm blanking super f---ing hard so maybe you can list some of your favorites to jog my memory lol

Exorcist is a f---ing classic another horror movie I'd recommend on that level is the shinning and silence of the lambs and honestly hereditary. f---ing love that movie midsummer was a huge let down IMO but succeeded in how a deranged cult would probably be. Haunting on hill house was great as well very touching series. I've watched too many horror movies in my life to have a true favorite honestly.

Yeah I've seen the shining and I think all of silence of the lambs if not most of it and I remember enjoying then both while especially being very f---ing weirded out and confused by the end of the shining like you remember the furry who gave a dude a blo-jo- in that movie?!? Like what in the actual f--- was that? lol

I still need to finish midsommar but that movie feels like such a slow burn that I almost feel the need to mentally prepare for it lmao

I'm interested in hereditary though cause my brother and his girlfriend are hyping it up but refusing to tell me anything about it other than the fact that it's f----- which is kinda exciting

Also with rob zombie on the mind I'll also say that the devil's rejects is a movie that I felt actively bad for laughing at, great movie lol

The blo-jo- furry scene is in the book they play a much bigger part in the book I believe they have a chapter dedicated to them and their history but in the movie it's just a quick scene which is why a lot of people don't like the movie even Stephen king doesn't like it. midsomar is just cringe very slow with barely any pay off only thing I liked were the amazing practical effects. Devils rejects is great you should watch 1000 corpse and 3 from h---.

Okay that makes a lot of sense that also reminds me of what Stephen King said when he had the quote that was to the effect of "I enjoy the Kubrick shining as much as you can enjoy a car without an engine"

also I sorta buried the lede by just talking about devil rejects cause I've also seen the other two and that whole trilogy is an experience lmao
