It's funny how strong nostalgia is for most people sometimes I think it's just Eminem where people wish and pray for the old days. Every time a song is remotely good it's not just a good song it has to remind them/be compared to a song 20 years ago or why can't Eminem just make the same album that's 20 plus years old etc. every now and then I run into s--- like this and it makes me realize people just love what they first heard when they discovered the artist or whatever it may be. Every slipknot album people are always so mad and depressed that Corey Taylor's mask isn't the first mask. Doesn't matter how good the mask or music is if it's not the og sound or look then let's just hope they go back to their roots.

Its so odd to see editing the mask with dreads is literally like Em fans editing the hat off his head and removing the beard and giving him blonde hair

There were so many edited pics of the mask with dreads in the morning in the subreddit the mod had to go in and delete them all lmfao

Meant to rely earlier but never been a fan of it but I can see why the album appeals to a more wider audience because it doesn't feel like a Manson album. His last album was great feel like it's the only album as a whole that's worthy of being in his catalog because it's more than his usual stripper music he's been making. Sounds like a grown man Manson album.

In no order there's some very good rock albums out there but theres are the ones that have stuck with me since I was young

Iron Maiden - The Number of The Beast
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of a Seventh Son
Metallica - Ride The Lightning
Linkin Park - Meteora

There are just too many good ones to define a 5th tbh.

I might get s--- from Megadeth fans for this but Cryptic Writings might be my favorite album of theirs.

Linkin parks first few albums are undeniable classics it's a d--- shame it took Chester dying for the band to not be a constant joke and laughed at for being "edgy emo band"

Most people I've seen have always liked Linkin Park. Great band.

Meteora is probably in my top 3 albums of all time, all genres included. One of the very first albums I owned.
