Sep 28, 2018 Just because one person at Pitchfork was intellectually honest enough not to judge a 2000 album by modern moral standards (so-called) doesn't disprove anything I’ve said. If Eminem released a project of this caliber today it would almost certainly be trashed by Pitchfork. Their scathing review of Fall - a great if not classic modern Eminem song - is proof of that. What have I said that's "borderline racist"? According to Wikipedia, Mac Miller's mother was Jewish and he was raised Jewish. Similarly, Action Bronson was born to an Albanian Muslim father and a Jewish mother and was raised Muslim. I don't think it's a coincidence that the only "white" rappers you could name in your defense of Pitchfork aren't exactly what you would consider white Caucasian. No DNA test required. I'm sure their ethnic backgrounds are well known to those rap critics who lean left and place importance on race, of whom there are apparently many among Pitchfork's contributors.
