adventures is an all-time classic that holds up better than maybe anything else released that year. i don't know if you could argue for much beyond that, though.

tell me which of those rappers is not as good as 50 cent.

Fair enough lol. He'd fall into the Big L/ Big Pun area, Idk why I was thinking about making this based on overall work

I like your point on Nas. It makes a lot of sense. WPG definitely could have ranked Nas higher.

But I don't understand why you'd think 50 would be a top 10 NY rapper ever. That makes no sense to me at all. Saying 50 is one of the ten best NY rappers ever is far-fetched IMO

i definitely could have, but of the three rappers ahead of him (who are not big), each of them has a better set of three albums than nas does. i love illmatic/it was written/stillmatic or lost tapes so, so much, but are they collectively better than rd/bp1/black album-american gangster, ironman/supreme clientele/fishscale, or madvillain/operation/VV? i don't know.

This forum is fill of disrespect for 50 its crazy you guys just pretend like he sucks and bums like Cam'ron are better LMFAO CAM'RON for f---s sake

I value gza's discography more than you do i guess. liquid swords to me is a much better album than either cuban linx's, or any of raekwon's albums. maybe you can make an argument that raekwon has a better discography but I think gza is a much better rapper than raekwon. i also like pro tools and beneath the surface a lot.

Guru and Redman are not New Yorkers. Cole isn't from NYC either. He's from NC, he just came here to go to college. He's a transplant at best.
