    bumble is s--- tbh. the interface is way better, but there's days that i could swipe all day on there without a single match. i'm not that ugly fam... i think they're struggling to have an active userbase, so they show old inactive accounts 90% of the time...i've seen some female friends on there who have said they uninstalled the app 6 months ago.

    bumble tricks you into thinking it's best because they stack the top of the deck with all of the girls who have been most-swiped on in the area...making you think that every user is a model.

    I stopped using it, but it did happen to me too at times.
    The one thing I did not get is those that had "not looking to hook up" on their bio.....why the f--- you have the app for then? No one is looking for a relationship on this lmao.

    Thing used to work well for me but I can't get any matches no matter how many times I swipe. Seems a lot of people got this problem around May or June last year and I think I never got any matches after that, but I barely use it anyway since I'm not focusing a lot on not staying single.

    POF is only for the slimiest of the slimes. Never used it myself but my cousin used to hook up with a girl every other night on there lol

    i use it to connect with new people in nyc and go on dates when i'm in the mood, i'd say i meet like 5 new people a month on there and get a few dates monthly out of it.

    it's also interesting just to see how genuinely f---ing boring a lot of people are lol

    Tinder girls turned super ugly overnight a few months ago. Bumble def has the better stock right now. I've never liked POF...just full of ugly girls and a really bad site interface

    The reason you guys don't get any is because

    1) Ugly as s---
    2) Closest interactions with girls you've had is here on s80 with eachother

    Use better profile pictures and practice how to say something cute that isn't "Hey"

    its interesting how people's experiences can vary so wildly. you're saying that tinder p---- is very easy, yet many people (not just me) on the page of this thread have expressed that people on tinder are boring. LOOK AT THE DATES

    now i'm not the least bit upset/bothered that this girl hasn't responded, i'm simply posting this to illustrate what i was saying in my last post--which is that they often just vanish. i don't care how good your "game" or conversation/banter skills are, you still have to get the girl to talk at least A LITTLE bit before you can meet or hook-up with them.

    i talk to all these girls the exact same way. the difference in the ones i've been able to meet in person (only 4 or 5)--is that they actually held a conversation rather than just sending a small handful of messages and then just disappearing

    You've gone right into the awkward smalltalk straight away that's your problem. I do a silly novelty question as an ice breaker then after a few jokes use a joke to branch off into other stuff.

    My first message is "would you rather wear clown shoes every day for a year or a clown wig" its a silly question but it gets a lot of responses and is a good icebreaker that leads to joking around

    yeah, perhaps i could/should be starting the conversation with something more funny like the approach you use. as i said in my post, its not a big deal to me or something i'm worried about, but that's often times what happens.

    another thing is---girls have way, way more options than guys do. girls on tinder are going to match with many guys---unless they rarely swipe right. so my point is---if they are matched with 6 or 7 guys----i realize that it can be difficult to keep all those conversations going and that is probably why they often vanish

    Your first mistake was thinking Tinder was for anything except hooking up. Usually don't find your soul mate from swiping right on a photo of her making a duck face and squeezing her breasts together.

    These type of messages are really boring and generic. It's like you're a telemarketer reading your company pre approved pitch to people you're cold calling. I try to keep messages funny and entertaining as long as I can. She probably gets the same messages from the other 100 guys she just matched with. Ghosting is normal. It will happen to you and you'll do it to others. Competition is tough out in these online streets
