Just comparing the production. Yeezus is clean, complex, very intricate, pays attention to detail. Most of TLOP's beats are either the same loop repeated 50 times or just lazy sampling.

I challenge you: Name a song on TLOP that has better production than the last 1 minute of Hold My Liquor

Kanye does have a "least great" album though. And TLOP is probably it.

Surprised this is so close. I guess the dust still hasn't quite settled on The Life of Pablo. The hardcore stans still probably think it's the best thing they've ever heard. In a month or so they'll come to their senses and realize it's actually a pretty mediocre album.

I don't like Yeezus but at least it stuck to a style and was a lot more cohesive than TLOP. TLOP sounded more like a mixtape if I'm being honest.

I'd rather listen to TLOP than Yeezus, but I'd rather listen to the select songs on Yeezus that I like over a majority of the songs on TLOP.

tlop felt like a so-so attempt to recreate the feel of Yeezus + his other styles over the years, as i'm constantly reminded of a song i like from one of his other albums whenever i play something from TLOP, so there's no way i'd ever pick it over one of them

I think Yeezus is Kanyes worst album. It's not that much better than Watch The Throne or Cruel Summer. That being said, they're all at least decent projects, so when I say I prefer TLOP to Yeezus, it's not saying that much because I don't think the gap is that far between the two. I think it's the best album he has put out since MBDTF.
