    on your own list there are a couple producers who are infinitely more interesting/talented like kenny beats/kanye

    You didn't answer my question. I'm fine with Metro not being your number 1 but he's always been on the forefront of trap production and is a lot more versatile than many producers. Have you heard Not All Heroes Wear Capes? Also they way he puts together projects like Heroes, Monster, Savage Mode, etc. is amazing.

    I mean...no lol. So many of Metro's beats are too dark and brooding for top 40.

    there's like a couple out of all of these that don't just sound some like some s--- you'd hear if you picked a trap song at random lol (push intro, nightcrawler), otherwise really unimpressive and generic

    I don't even know what you're arguing, I didn't say anything about reach or star power lol. I only mentioned metro being on the forefront because if you're talking about generic trap producers there are 100 who came after him. I just find it strange you picked out metro out of all of them.

    Speaking production-wise: how is tunnel vision generic? How is mask off generic? How is 10 Freaky Girls generic? Only You? Sorry? Speed Racer?

    What are your top 10 producers of the decade that are better/more creative than metro?

    @Michael Myers listen to Not Only Heroes Wear Capes front to back, that album flows so g.d. well.

    Low key I only remembered because he came up with Meek and is from the town over from me, like, 5 mins away lol. 2010-2012 this guy was on a roll, and then also Hot N*gga.
