Both of you guys should be stripped from your mod duties for listing dudes like Migos, Future etc... The cancer of Hiphop. So much mumble trash in those lists. Shame on yous.

I have to disagree. Thug does have a couple of catchy songs but all of these guys are mostly trash tbh.

Can it really be called Hiphop when half the s--- they say on their records cannot even be understood?

And behind all that mumbling, it's not like there's any substance or deep meaning for the most part, so how exactly can they be considered top rappers? Especially when considering the fact that Hiphop at it's core is about lyrism and/or delivering a message.

Biggie & Pac probably roll around in their graves everytime somebody calls these guys top rappers or even listen to that rubbish.

    Thanks, but nah lol.

It's one of those situations where no matter how much you try to get into it, you just can't.

    I respect your opinion tho.

I definitely took me a while to get into thug ans future as well tbh and they grew into one of my favorites.. especially future. Only problem I have w them is them sticking w s-----y trap beats mostly (especially recently) when I want to hear them over other prod as well.

As far as the 'mumbling' goes, sometimes there are rappers hard to understand.. its not his fault or the rappers (or a racist thing like some r-----s claim) it just is what it is.. I guess its just accent the listener can't understand?

The one thing I do agree w him is that sometimes there are popular rappers and u just cant get into it.. I have the same w Yachty, Uzi (to an extent) Travis Scott, lil baby and the amigos for example. Mostly because they sound like clones to better rappers but okay.

In general though, @Tonshor just look further for music there are definitely current rappers that you will like as well!

Being out of touch would be denying anything I said as being true.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone has a different taste in music but a lot of the guys you named are basically the laughing stock in hiphop. At least amongst real hiphop artists.

You didn't point out anything wrong in my post besides saying Joeyp363 agreed with one of the albums on my list earlier which really isn't saying anything.

There are current rappers I do like. Just not as many as there used to be. But i'm sure there are some I haven't even heard yet.

I'm not saying all hiphop sucks these days. Just a lot of the names that were mentionned who all happen to sound very similar.

I mean, even you admitted you had a hard time getting into some of them and are tired of hearing the same s-----y trap beats.
