Excluding illmatic:

1. Nas Is Like
(This is like the epitome of a great rap record, it has every boxed ticked, Premo production/illmatic sample/perfect hook/killer verses. The composition of the whole thing is perfection)

2. I Gave You Power
(You know you've created something original & unique when 2Pac starts biting your style. Nas' genius somehow managed to extend even further post-illmatic, the beat captures the mood perfectly too)

3. The Message
(Nas is at his best on beats like this, powerful lyrics and one-liners, the samples for the hook are godly and fuse with the instrumental perfectly)

4. Made You Look
(Definition of a b-----r, Nas somehow managed to fuse the best of the 80's & 90's sound, and made it an anthem. God's Son is a pretty somber album, which makes this even more of a standout.

5. You're Da Man
(Nas gets a lot of stick for beats, but this is the best use of a sample of all time, another perfect track.. chilled, not over reaching, executed to perfection)

Correct.

Although he has got it wrong, the track is called 'What It Is', when it leaked it had no title.. so people named it themselves.

This is another dope af track recorded around the time that should have also made the Untitled album imo..

Did it have a different beat to the DJ Khalil produced one? I'm not sure why, but I swear there's a different version to the Khalil one that was pretty big.

I've been wanting 'colours' for a while now man... Sounds so f---ing nice.

L taken for that one then, swear the track leaked before the tape came out though.

Never gonna happen, even from the snippet.. it was clear the subject matter was too extreme/controversial, even for that album.
