Has anyone here done the Tough Mudder, or anything like it?

I'm thinking about it and it looks intense, not sure how much training I'd need. There's a 5 mile course, and a 10-12 mile course where I live. The obstacles look super fun, but challenging.

Last weekend I did the Rugged Maniac, which was only 3.1 miles. It had 25 obstacles, they were more fun and muddy than tough, although there were a few where I was close to falling. It was a blast though

The Tough Mudder obstacles are here, if you want to check them out: https://toughmudder.com/obstacles

I have with a couple friends.
Wasn't ridiculously hard, reckon if you're generally fit you can finish. A lot of the harder obstacles require finger/forearm strength and endurance so if you're gonna do any training (Idk how much time you have) doing some indoor rock climbing every week (doing proper grades and stuff, not just the weekend f---ing around stuff) for even a month strengthens them tremendously

That's a good tip - I have about a month to train if I end up doing it. I'll have to find a good rock climbing place to practice

Just watched this one since you suggested it, the guy flew threw the course, jeez. I've watched a lot of (America) Ninja Warrior, some where people are doing the long a--- courses that take like 7 minutes, and only 2 out of 50 people complete them. They look fun but I bet it takes waaay too much training to be that good
