    I've listened to both slime seasons :srsguy:. Simply cannot be compared to TPAB

    I really prefer Thug's rapping and unpredictability over anything on TPAB but I really admire how well put together TPAB is, the production and some of Kendrick's verses are nothing short of spectacular...I'm going with SS1 it's well-rounded and mesmerizing :wow:

    I enjoy SS1 waaay more, but i think TPAB is the better project because of cohesion, storytelling, variety of styles, & overall depth of the story/theme.

    f---ing boring album, but it has stronger qualities.

    will need to listen to SS1 more on my own to fully make a decision but right now I'm gonna go with TPAB

    TPAB is one of the most overrated albums this decade.

    TPAB.. I love jazzy production (obviously, you can hear it in my own music)

    everyone loved the album when it came out, now people saying it's overrated..lol you either enjoy it, or you don't.. there's no in between

    of course opinions can change..but it's ridiculous to think tpab is a bad album or an overrated one..but who am I to judge

    I love SS1 too.. but it doesn't even come close to TPAB...at all

    Slime Season 1 by a wide, wide margin. kendrick's writing on his album is too sloppy, and for the first time since he became famous, his rapping is stilted and subpar. thug, meanwhile, is pushing the form wildly forward.

    but this...is a very dumb post. why would you, as a white person, not be able to respect and appreciate black art? kendrick's album isn't that good, but it's not bad because of its politics.

    TPAB is oozing with BLACK musical excellence.


    I mean, it might've been a dope album if it was straight Hip-Hop but once they
    dipped into the ideas black musicians have helped to pioneer over the past 100 years... it became an amazing piece of work.

    I respect and appreciate TPAB. I think it's good. What I meant was like, If you regularly play this/sing along/enjoy it start to finish I need that african american proof
