2. Reality Check

I literally felt the need to make a diss track of some sort because of this energy. It's like a combination of Ether and Takeover in the strong style and the aggression.

I picked the targets I did (Cashis, Logic, Narsh/SHIMA) because I truly hate them. Cashis doesn't represent the Orange County area he resides in and basically acts as if he's one of those artists who's in Compton. I used to live there, it was a place for spoiled rich people and there are basically very few ghetto environments in Orange County especially Irvine which is the safest city you could possibly live in.

Logic is the weakest rapper I have ever seen. All of his lyrics are overtly complicated and have no substance like your favorite underground rapper and I'm guessing Def Jam signed him as a joke... His image is also a joke; this dude wants to actually be black and believes that he's somehow African when in actuality he's European, plus wearing a Super Mario costume does nothing to help you get features from major artists that do not f--- with you period. I'm guessing Def Jam signed him as a joke.

Narsh? This guy has done the impossible and gotten on HipHopDX and HotNewHipHop as a writer; not just a writer, a WEAK writer. Thank goodness people linked to my Babar reviews because I can honestly say that they're better than Narsh's s--- even though they're unpolished and unnecessarily long. I know how to describe what I like, you just a motherfucking dicksucker trying to hawk at the culture. Also I feel bad that you deleted your SoundCloud I mean what? You aren't confident in your own work?

Also this is what I'm referring to when I say freestyle battle.



His opponent clearly ethered him, guy cannot form a rhyme or concept or flow to save his life.

I'm especially proud of this beat. I went into this eerie mode in order to provide an atmosphere that's claustrophobia but confident at the same time. It almost feels like a horror movie of sorts, you're looking around just trying to understand what the f--- is going on only to fail to grasp the true situation at hand. Of course everything is synthesized using Sytrus. That thing is like the best synth I have ever used, it does anything; including make drum kits.
