Does this album get crackly-sounding at times for you guys? Kind of the same with how Wonderful sounded at first...idk, maybe it's my garbage headphones or something.

Hopefully the album gets cleaned up like TLOP, maybe even add a track or two.
A lot of my friends who are casual Travis fans had the same complaint that the audio sounds rough at times :/

Mike Dean said on his IG or Twitter that he intentionally mastered it loud af cause that's the way Travis wanted it. p much a creative choice, which is like whatever, but it can still get a bit overbearing at times regardless. because yea its so loud that it distorts at times. clipping (crackling) is unreal in a few songs. was playing Outside in my car on high volume & was barely able to make out 21s verse cause the clipping was so crazy. some songs are worse than others.

just gotta get used to it i think. cause irdt it'll be remastered like TLOP. in TLOPs case it was rushed, & it was already implied v early on that tweaks were gonna be made (the whole "living breathing project" thing). whereas Birds is a completely finished product, & its out already on like a bazillion diff formats. could be wrong it could be remastered, but i highly doubt it.

This was ok. Loved the production and I'll go back for a handful of tracks (Way Back, Coordinate, Through the Night, Goosebumps) but the rest was pretty forgettable.
