Nonsense. Just total nonsense. Do you seriously believe that open borders will have no impact on the country, the culture and the demographics in the next 8 years under Hillary? Our pathetic immigration policy has already done a number on us.

Fearmongering? No basis in facts? What about the drug epidemic? According to the DEA, Mexico is the biggest supplier of heroin and m---. And what about the return of various communicable diseases like tuberculosis that we had all but eradicated?

Uhhhh this is why I referred to crime RATES and not overall raw data. Rates take into account population disproportion, that's the whole point of having rate-based statistics.

The drug epidemic is more a criminal justice/healthcare issue than it is an immigration issue. The War on Drugs is a complete failure. We're never going to solve the drug problem in this country if we keep treating it as a crime issue rather than a public health issue.

That's very scientific of you, but citing that as justification for open borders is pretty desperate. No one is saying that the crime rates are higher for illegal immigrants. Whenever I hear that argument, it just sounds like a sneaky evasion. It's usually left out that illegals account for a relatively large percentage of crime in this country. Even 13.6% is staggering, but might I remind you that illegally entering the country is a crime! Whether we have fewer illegal immigrants now is beside the point*. It's still a huge problem and it's going to get much worse if she wins.

*I'm not totally convinced that this is true. Does that include the children of illegal immigrants? Contrary to popular opinion, no, the fact that they were born here does not automatically make them citizens.

This is just dumb.

this is actually widely accepted by nearly every expert in the medical community and many in law enforcement. there's no coherent argument that a continuation of the war on drugs per se does anything but burn money, prop up the prison industry, and perpetuate violence. this is one of your worst opinions.
