Biggie more overrated than Pac if you're using that "if he died" logic plus he only put out two albums

Went 5/5 on good albums when he was alive, 3 of them are still seen as classics today. He was also the most popular rapper at the time of his death, so the fact that people see him in a high regard is 'unjustified' is an opinion of yours and far from a fact.

You're an Eminem fan...he hasn't released a good album (arguably hardly any good songs) in over a decade, yet is still seen in high regard..Where's your complaining about that?

He was the most popular rapper at the time of his death because he kept getting shot. He does not have 3 classics, because the albums lows are awful. He wasn't a great rapper either

you're talking bs. pac had both rap heads and rap casuals, as well as critics. logic only has casuals. Pac had extremely critically acclaimed albums when he was alive, Pac was loved b4 he died, he was considered a legend. ask the people who were there.

Honestly, no. Not based on his output and work ethic.

But I'm sure he would've fell off as everyone does.

Anybody rated as highly as Pac can be called overrated. He's definitely a name that people gravitate towards even if they can't name a Pac album. That said, he was extremely prolific, excelled in a lot of different directions topically, and had one of the most emotive deliveries in rap history.

Eazy E the most overrated rapper in history tbh.

This is exactly why he is overrated. People name him as a goat just because he is dead and they don't even know a single album made by him. He is as highly regarded as he is today solely because he is dead
    @SlimCartman here is my response

@Changeling as well, to you saying my post in the other thread is bull. You don't know how many times Ive heard people say that he is the goat but only know 3 songs

People like him because of his name and because he is popular to like

but he was a legend when he was alive too so its not just because hes dead.
and people dont love other dead rappers the way they love big and pac
and Pac has so many qualities and is so influential that he deserves his status (since music is subjective i wont say that its just because of his music)
yeah u can say he's overrated by casuals but all the greats are. Em, Big, Pac, Nas, Jay.. if everyone's overrated then none is overrated..

    Pac earned his status.

Why do those peoples opinions matter anyway?

There are people who say Em is the goat but secretly don't listen to actual rap at all they just know he's white and popular--does that automatically make him overrated?? Should their opinion factor into this at all???

    Of course not

You said Tupac's three best records are famous for his name and not the music

Honestly I feel like you have no clue what you're talking about

Tupac is definitely not overrated and to say s--- like that above is straight disrespectful

This guy's a huge Eminem fan saying Pac's overrated cuz people sometimes call him the best ever without being able to go into details about his discography, lmao..Hypocrite much? That's....how it goes for some artists that have like 50 million fans genius, not every one of them is gonna be a huge fan and know all about their career.

That's part of why they're so huge, they have appeal outside of just rap fans...

If you think Pac's overrated fine, but your argument's a f---in joke for 2 reasons, what I said above and also how he was huge when he was alive, which you seem to be arguing.
