Jan 19, 2015 Just finished watching them. Was surprised Bendo lost. Felt he was the clear winner in that one. More active, very great striking and so many level changes. Had Cerrone not knowing what was coming. McGregor looked great, Siver is a tough fighter. Looked like he was bullying him. I don't doubt Jose though, my pick is still Aldo. I like both, McGregor is hilarious and that was nuts when he ran out of the cage. But like the commentators said and another person in here, it's a bit scary it didn't even phase Aldo. That will be a crazy fight!

When I read your post though, I thought you said he was cut last night (from the UFC), and I was thinking that'd be pretty sad considering he stepped up against a scary dude, and did pretty up until then. Jan 20, 2015 So does anyone believe Connor will actually beat Aldo? I'm wondering how the UFC will continue with Connor after that fight. IMO no way Connor wins, since this fight will probably be the prime of the hype train, I wonder if after the fight, Dana will get him to fight better wrestlers like Mendez or will he move up a weight class.
Jan 20, 2015 The thing is I'm a McGregor fan and I also thought Mendez had a huge chance to win their second fight, so sorry, none of those, lol. I think McGregor's recent UFC fights, he destroyed them before even going in to the cage. I don't recall seeing him in an actual fight/battle. His recent fights were distance based strikes with opponents being very timid about engaging. Don't get me wrong, it's great, it really works for him and I love his fights, I was standing up for the entire Siver fight. I just wish I saw him fight Mendez or Frankie before the title fight but Dana knows what he's doing.
Jan 20, 2015 In my mind Frankie and Mendez have just as much of a chance as beating conor than aldo.... maybe more of a chance. dennis siver took conor down.... he got up fast, but still. They're timid because conor is so good at fighting his fight and so good at checking punches with hand fighting. He makes everything look so easy and is so precise and efficient in there. I think conor would do well in a war btw. conor is ready and game for aldo.
Jan 20, 2015 I agree on Frankie and Mendez having as much of a chance. All I really do care about is the fighting being a a great fight. I like both fighters so I won't be mad at any outcome, except for the fight being boring but no way that happens. All in all I think I might be more excited for this than Silva vs Diaz... And Silva is my favorite Say Connor loses. How well do you think he does in lightweight?
Jan 20, 2015 It's hard to say, really. There's still a lot of unanswered questions at FW. He's certainly big enough for LW. We know he can control the stand up at FW. He's just so good at distance management with all his striking tools. There's no reason as to why he wouldn't be able to do as good at LW as well in terms of striking. We just need to see him fight a good wrestler/grappler which we probably will after he fights Aldo. I also don't mind who wins with aldo/conor but i do know it's gonna be exciting however it goes down. can't wait.
Jan 20, 2015 was a longshot but gutted this fight is not in Dublin. id have aldo slight favourite he's a different animal thats conor's faced yet! be interesting if to see if conor can stop aldos leg kicks but being a southpaw if jose uses them he'll be open for that left that found a home easily against siver. cant wait for the build up for this
