Brown vs Saffiedine and Thatch vs Wonderboy were fights i was really looking forward too, even Lentz vs Thiago Tavares was a solid fight. Thatch vs Bendo is interesting still though, not sure how Bendo will do at WW. Max Holloway is one of my favorite fighters in the FW division, crazy that he just turned 23. Magny isnt all that exciting but hes won 5 in a row and should get a big step up after he wins this one. Prazeres dominated Taisumov(who is a beast as we just saw in Sweden) and Kevin Lee is also a pretty good prospect, fight stylistically probably wont turn out all that great. Kelly vs Walsh is a tough reject fight but Ray Borg is one of the best prospects in the FLW division and is only 21 years old. Kelades won his debut when he took on Paddy Holohan in Halifax on super short notice. Lentz is fighting a pretty highly touted prospect but hes coming in on pretty short notice. Lentz wins and hes really the only guy who makes sense for Frankie Edgar next at FW. Dont give a f--- about the Escudero fight. Alers vs Skelly is a very good match up, both are 13-1. Alers is the FW Cage Warriors champ who won his debut way back in Abu Dhabi last April and Skelly is the guy who submitted Tom Niinimaki(highly touted at the time) back in late August and then took a super late replacement fight 2 weeks after that fight and beat Sean Soriano on the Foxwoods card. Makovsky vs Elliot is a meaningful FLW fight, Makovsky was probably a win away from a title shot but lost to Jussier Formiga in Maine and Elliot is coming off tough back to back losses against Benavidez and Bagautinov.
Feb 9, 2015 These star quality lacking cards sometimes have a tendency to make up for it in performance quality. Will be watching. Excited for the Holloway fight the most, guy is a beast.

Feb 9, 2015 I think Thatch is going to maul Bendo.... Thatch has the power to do some serious damage, and has an absolutely absurd size advantage. I mean this is 5'9' 175ish vs 6'2' 205ish, that in itself is likely to make a huge difference I think Borg/Kelades is a hugely overlooked fight, two wicked prospects one of which is about to take a big step up in the division. Also the sophomore showing for James Moontasri, he was robbed vs Ellenberger and looked pretty d--- good in that fight I thought

Also figured id mention in here that there is also a WSOF card on Thursday, which is literally Marlon Moraes vs Josh Hill(rest of the card is super weak). Moraes is still the guy in WSOF i most want to see in the UFC, him against Dillashaw would be a great match up. On Friday Bellator is back Melvin Manhoef vs Alexander Shlemenko Pat Curran vs Daniel Weichel Julia Budd vs Gabrielle Holloway Chris Honeycutt vs Clayton MacFarlane Oh and Anthony Njokuani is making his Legacy debut after being cut from the UFC. No idea who his opponent is, hoping he has zero wrestling though.

Feb 9, 2015 Bendo vs Thatch is one of those ones where I don't know what the f--- is gonna happen. As you guys mentioned Borg is back! This kid is absolutely incredible. I see title contention in his future if he keeps on developing, he is still very young with tons of potential. Tim Elliot vs Zach Makovsky is a good fight too. Lentz should win his fight. Like redsoxx said, Frankie would make sense (and Frankie would smash him) or that rematch with Olivera. Has Cub got a fight yet? Him and Dennis Bermudez would be a good fight.

Feb 13, 2015 Lentz has the flu and his fight is canceled. Second time in 5 months his fight has been canceled on weigh in day. Charles Oliveira missed weight and then got sick and pulled out of the Foxwoods show. Should book him against Dennis Bermudez or something now.
Feb 13, 2015 d---. sucks for Lentz, I was looking forward to his fight. Also, i'm starting to feel a little scared for Benson... Thatch is a killer with quite a pedigree in fighting, his grandfather was a boxer, his dad was a full contact karate fighter and also competed in mma. Plus he is huge, he towered over Bendo at the weigh-ins.

Feb 14, 2015 the f--- are these last two fights doing on the main card? makovsky and elliot deserved that spot over these fools. Nick Lentz too... if he had made it to fight night. Joe Silva ans Shawn Shelby are great matchmakers, but order of fights can be questionable.
