    GKMC draws heavy from mainstream rap albums in 2000s imo, it's not that new or original to me

    Okay sure you have MF Doom talking about the world ending and flying cats and s--- thats cool but for his major label debut Kendrick made an album, that not only showed his past but his present and how he managed to come up, all by telling it in the confines of 1 f---ing day. It's an incredible album, conceptually its amazing and you tryna tell me some s--- about sitting in a circle telling stories is better.

    Ok you clearly didnt listen hard enough to get what s80 is really about so go give it another hard listen. And i never said GKMC wasnt an amazing album. In fact its one of my fav albums oat too. But its not an amazing concept album.

    It's not better than TPAB but conceptually it is, s80 aint beating it in any regard especially not conceptually, take the L and move on

    I listened hard enough to look through the hype and see that it isnt the amazing conceptual masterpiece everyone claims it is. Its not that masterful. He took a very common concept in rap and fleshed it out with great detail. Thats incredible execution of a less than great concept.
