it's definitely a bit different than my normal style, but i keep feeling this draw towards doing this kind of stuff. i messed around with this style a bit on Free (sort of), and on some other scrapped tracks that never saw the light of day, but i've never really delved into it fully because the reception from people here hasn't been great.

most likely that thing is vocals, as i did this with a male singer with a higher range very much in mind, and left it open enough for the vocals... but ye, i'm gonna keep messing with this. there's a lot of stuff i want to fix on it
