Oct 15, 2015 Aiight man, I'm leaving the internet for today. Gonna do some soul searching. Will update you guys tomorrow. Thanks @6mmy @Ordinary Joel @gorealsteady @Batman for your advice.
Oct 15, 2015 @ThyNeighbour if i could give you one advice, try as hard as you can to find a job you love. I personally study drama, i'm french, and it's really hard to find that kind of job in my country but f--- it this is my passion and i will regret all my life if i don't try. Even if my parents and friends keep saying me that it's risky, i also know that i'm pretty talented as a comedian so that's what i wanna do. Doing a job we love>>>>>>>>>>earning much money
Oct 15, 2015 I think it's a bad idea to major in something u don't enjoy studying. Great way to realize you should be doing something else with your education. Do some soul searching m8. Be honest with your parents and be honest with yourself. Your parents will have the right to be pissed at u, and I get having anxiety rn, but u can't change what's already done. This is just a moment in time that you're watching, and teh only thing u can affect is the present moment. If you're a man, you've already got a leg up. And if you're white, boy, just kick both feet back and know that you can't really screw up that bad.
Oct 15, 2015 Instead of wasting your time worrying, would you give me some advice about chemical engineering? See, I studied business, got my Bachelor degree, but my family is filled with people who studied sciences, medicine. My mother is a chemistry teacher. My father is a surgeon. I really want to study biomedical engineering, but as I understand, there are very few jobs in this field at the moment. The advice people usually give is to study a broad stream of engineering instead. For example, mechanical or chemical (as people who study this are also usually considered for biomedical). On the other side, I am quite fascinated with technology, computers. However, I think I am leaning more towards the biomedical engineering, and therefore chemical / process engineering aspect. I also currently work for a company specializing in procurement for humanitarian aid and scientific research, as a sales specialist. The company wants to get into pharmaceuticals and also revamp the IT system. So, if I studied something along these lines, it would help. Why do you dislike it? I feel like I am a bit too stupid for this s---. I am also a bit old to start something new, so that makes me demotivated as h---. (mid 20s)
Oct 15, 2015 Bruh if you fail you can repeat a year. No worries. This is the time to enjoy your life.
Oct 15, 2015 I wish I was white then maybe I could've had understanding parents. But you're right. I think it's high time for me to make my own. This s--- is so complicated bro. Sometimes I just say f--- it and try to move on.
