May 11, 2021 I 100% get why people like Marvel—and regardless of what I think of it, I do think the idea of such a massive, extended film universe is super cool—but personally I'm not really into it.

May 11, 2021 I think Venom was weak but I liked Tom Hardy in it, and Eddie's relationship with Venom. This new trailer looks so bad, but maybe the second trailer will show something better than this. If it's bad like the first one, I just hope it will also be watchable like the original.
May 11, 2021 MCU movies can be a little much, depending on your view of them. I think most of them constitute as good, enjoyable cinema. I don’t think most people see them as anything other than popcorn blockbusters. They have their highs and they have their lows, but there’s always some of the best people in show business working on them. They make truck loads of dough for a reason This looks ok. I really like venom and carnage when I was a kid. I’d bet the house we get a Spidey cameo

May 11, 2021 Anther cut was good and that’s the only one I’ve ever seen. Better than anything Marval has ever put out. Don’t even know what DCEU even means.

May 11, 2021 I’d agree with that. A lot of the movies are very well written (Civil War, Winter Soldier), and then some are just riddled with plot holes (Endgame). They are by far the best looking movies out there and it isn’t even remotely close. There’s just a certain stigma with the genre in general rn, at least that how I perceive it.

May 12, 2021 I love Endgame though. I prefer IW, but I see it as two parts of the same movie, and I love it as a whole
May 12, 2021 Man of Steel, WW, Aquaman, Shazam, and ZSJL are beautiful films though and I guess Birds of Prey was okay but I mostly just love Margot as Harley Quinn. But otherwise yeah the films have been not as good as MCU.
May 12, 2021 I like Snyder ones the most. Aquaman and Wonder Woman were fun to watch. Shazam was ok. BOP and Suicide Squad are two movies Margot saved from being trash. Will Smith too. WW84 was mad stupid. The DCEU is not complete trash, but they NEED Snyder. If they don't get him again I hope Marvel will make a classic movie with him that will outsell whatever these fools are working on.
May 12, 2021 I’m hoping army of the dead does fantastic so they will see how good his movies do, and also The Rock is campaigning to get him back so we’ll see
May 12, 2021 Carnage done right would have to be rated R and probably not as goofy. But this film franchise has always been at a disadvantage by starting off without Spider-Man. I know they’re going to incorporate him later on but its just weird that these films are continuing without him. But that’s on Marvel.
