Dec 15, 2015 had no idea this was going on tbh never nominated anything whats the earl thing about? what was so surprising about him?
Dec 15, 2015 After 15 years of waiting, Compton without hesitation. @able add me in the mention list please EDIT : Black Friday is my second choice.
Dec 15, 2015 I guess people kind of forgot about him since Doris came out in 2013 or they didn't expect earl to have this much lyrical ability in IDLSIDGO/Some people slept on Earl
Dec 15, 2015 Well, the Earl album totally surprised me regarding the quality of the album. In the end, this album made rethink my choices for the album of the year.
Dec 15, 2015 yeah it was a great album, just waiting on earl to release a project thats longer than 40 mins
Dec 15, 2015 That's exactly what I was thinking as well. 15 tracks and heaven is one step closer. Which tracks do you especially like from that album? Faucet and Grief tracks have been repeat all day since a few days.
Dec 15, 2015 Compton is the only right answer. Why? That's why: Who would've thought that Dre will release another album after so many years of delaying Detox.
Dec 15, 2015 Compton, definitely compton. A month before it was released, people were already comfortable with thinking that Dre retired, then the album was announced 2 weeks prior to release, and d--- near nobody believed it was true. Then the album was officially announced, & people still had doubts, saying that it was just gonna be a compilation of old s--- because it was called a soundtrack, the idea of it being a legit studio album was too good to be true. Then, the tracklist dropped, and d--- near everyone s--- themselves when they found out that it was indeed a new studio album. I'd say that was easily the biggest surprise of the year.
Dec 15, 2015 Between Compton & Drake/Meek beef but in the grand scheme of things, Compton is the pretty obvious choice.
