Feb 28, 2017 Is it supposed to be giving me this much trouble? First 8 times I plugged it in, it worked, but reluctantly so. And by reluctantly working, I mean it just barely wanted to acknowledge that it was plugged in. First six times, I realized where I went wrong, but wasn't sure I believed the 2.0 vs. 3.0 argument to come into play. Apparently, that made all the different. Until I transferred the USB hub from a 2.0 port to a 3.0. It only detected it being plugged up once since then. After that, when I got to the ninth time of trying out every port available on my Dell XPS 8700 Desktop, it hadn't recognized it as being plugged up anymore. I've done a lot since I bought this hard drive. Even upgraded my operating system from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro. What could have went wrong with this hard drive installation process? I really need to know because I'm so close to running out of space that I'm ready to panic. All of the help and professional suggestions are both welcomed and appreciated, in advance!
