172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad. Just grabbed it from the library yesterday.

@CarolinaFiend I don't know if this would interest you at all, I haven't even started reading it yet but I thought I'd give it a shot.

"It’s been decades since anyone set foot on the moon. Now three ordinary teenagers, the winners of NASA’s unprecedented, worldwide lottery, are about to become the first young people in space–and change their lives forever.

Mia, from Norway, hopes this will be her punk band’s ticket to fame and fortune.

Midori believes it’s her way out of her restrained life in Japan.

Antoine, from France, just wants to get as far away from his ex-girlfriend as possible.

It’s the opportunity of a lifetime, but little do the teenagers know that something sinister is waiting for them on the desolate surface of the moon. And in the black vacuum of space… no one is coming to save them.

In this chilling adventure set in the most brutal landscape known to man, highly acclaimed Norwegian novelist Johan Harstad creates a vivid and frightening world of possibilities we can only hope never come true."

I've been wanting to read some stuff by Brian Greene.

    My favorite science books are:
Death By A Black Hole by Neil DeGrasse Tyson
The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins
A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawkins
    Cosmos by Carl Sagan
A Natural History of Love by Diane Ackerman

another guy i met there bought "the fabric of the cosmos" by BG
we'll be exchanging books soon, from what i've read and heard so far, both books are really good.

Have you read any science books outside of BG?

Also, I feel like if you like BG, Michio Kaku will be another favorite of yours. I believe they share the same field. My friend loves them both.

Yeah, I've read a Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking and The Birth of Time by John Gribbin, not much, but I found a lot of books I want to read in the near future.
And yes!!!!!! I was about to pick up his book The Future of the Mind, but that professor convinced me to read the Brian Greene book first. Have you read any of Michio Kaku?

This book is one of the most informing books I've ever read and it's a college textbook. I love reading it and going to class. It's everything from the business of mass media to photoshop and different s---. It's amazing.

It's added content paints a slightly better picture. But you're mistaken if you think Revenge of the Sith was anywhere as bad as the other prequels
Revenge of the Sith is probably the third best movie behind Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope

Currently reading True Story: Murder, Memoir, Mea Culpa and it is a very good read. It's being turned into a movie that came out this week, with James Franco and Jonah Hill. Gotta finish the last 30% before the movie this weekend.

Also, does anyone use Goodreads? I set up a challenge to read 20 books this year on it, currently on my 6th.
