Jan 31, 2023 @jankland I finished all 3 seasons of Barry so far. Up until the last episode I thought season 3 would be the last season. I’m glad there’s another season coming soon, it looks like I started watching at the right time. This show was written so cleverly, all the parallels that were drawn between the characters and their situations was awesome. The amount of anxiety it made me feel was insane lol. Hank and Sally gotta be my favorite characters, but all the characters are great. I don’t think I’ve seen a show quite like this one
Jan 31, 2023 MY f---in MAN, Hank is a goat character. The tone shift into more serious stuff felt pretty earned and even some stuff that felt convenient could he explained away by the surrealist nature of the show, very interested to see where season 4 goes and I'm happy you enjoy it! Hope to see this level of quality translate into whatever Bill Hader decides to make in the future.

Jan 31, 2023 Last of Us should probably have it's own thread at this point. Was kind of annoyed at first when they used the whole episode for that story, not because it was super gay, I thought it was just a filler, but it was really well done. Show has been pretty d--- flawless so far
Jan 31, 2023 True s---, it’s hard not to love that guy. Awesome comedic relief in a show filled with very serious s--- at times Yeah I agree. I was worried at first that all the conveniences that were saving Barry would get old or annoying, but it works quite well within the show and I actually ended up thinking to myself a lot, “What funny, convenient thing is going to save Barry this time?” It was always such unexpected s--- too. Yeah man thank you for recommending the show to me. I shouldn’t be surprised that I loved it though, we have very similar taste h--- yeah, Bill Hader is an amazing actor. I know someone is a great actor when I wanna go and check out other stuff they’ve been in
Jan 31, 2023 He's also written/co-written most of if not all of the show so far and is directing every episode of season 4! He was always a favorite of mine from the days when I used to be cringe and watch SNL but it's great to see the comedian into good filmmaker/actor pipeline still prove to be reliable.

Feb 20, 2023 Watched up to Episode 6 of Ted Lasso so far and really really like it, I needed some of this feel-good energy and it did the impossible by making me care about soccer! Also watching Shrinking which is a show by the same creators, same sad/feel-good vibe but in a very different context with it being a show about therapists. Seeing Jason Segal again is nice since I Love You Man is a comfort movie of mine and getting to see Harrison Ford in a comedy has been an interesting thing that I never would've thought he'd do.

Mar 6, 2023 Watched first 2 episodes so far and can't wait to see what actually happened there. Found a new titanium build for kodi and going to try it tonight, before starting my evening streaming session. Just need to stay strong and go to bad not too late but with this show it might be a very difficult thing to do.

Mar 7, 2023 I had a feeling it would end with season 4. Upon originally watching it, I actually thought it would end with season 3. I love the show and am slightly sad it’s ending, but at the same time I feel like if they went any longer they would just be dragging the story out and it wouldn’t be good anymore. Like Bill said in this interview, he found a very natural ending to it and that makes sense. It’s awesome that it’s coming so soon. I’m glad I have TV to look forward to now that The Last Of Us season 1 is ending next week
