What Audio Equipment Do You Use?

    You need both. HS8s are a great investment though & should be your priority, then cop some M50 headphones, usually around 100 dollars/pounds.

    I’ve just swapped out my Sony STR-DN1080 amp/receiver for a Denon AVR-X2700H instead.

    I was getting so frustrated by Sony’s awful buggy interfaces that they’ve received thousands of complaints for 3 years on & doing absolutely nothing to resolve it, the amp’s setting screen would always randomly switch to that input on my TV due to a known fault in the software & I had burn in scares on my OLED TV so I replaced the amp within a day, not worth the risk. The stereo music experience is slightly worse off but the movie/show listening experience has improved as a result. Haven’t got around to customising the EQs yet anyway.

    I think I’m going to avoid Sony altogether after also having issues with sending my XM3s in for repair earlier this year too. Their customer aftercare appears to be appalling.
