Mar 19, 2015 Well that's the thing, a lot of fans are talking about how much a rapper sells (don't think I need to give an example). I care more about their music being good/liking it than that their sales/popularity.
Mar 19, 2015 I don't believe whoever acts like they never rooted for an artist they like. Of course you want the music to be good first and foremost, but tell me why sales projections are always a debate when an album drops.
Mar 19, 2015 What charlamagne tha god said about tier 1 rappers for new school (kendrick drake and cole) was true about a year ago. But imo cole dropped the ball hard with his studio albums and has yet to release an album as good as FNL, his epitome of projects. Cole needs to stop reusing bars in every song, get other producers, and find a theme that suits him before he can be debated amongst kendrick and drake.

Doesnt mean it still isnt a debatable topic. 2. That was just an example. I can give you some others if you didnt get the point. You never been following an up and coming artist who's up for xxl freshman or some s---? You really have no interest on whether he gets it or not? Or if kendrick apbums gets a grammy nom, you think kendrick fans dont care whether he wins or not? Idk if those are good examples but Im sure you get my point

Mar 20, 2015 Kendrick is in his own league just competing with the legends rather than his peers, but that doesn't mean JCole isn't amazing cause he is. No need to compare him cause imo it's just not fair, but FHD FNL and BS are all good to great projects especially compared to some of the trash that exists today at least Cole keeps it real and is actually passionate bout the music rather than just makin a quick dollar
