Jan 16, 2016 Nah just watch it. I'd rather just get your take on it. Broadly though, comparing it to the thug interview, future defintely lost some of his mystique for me. Whereas thug just got even more mesmerizing with his
Jan 16, 2016 Lmfao. Wait, can someone explain this thread to me though lol didn't watch the interview.
Jan 16, 2016 Future said he's not a drug addict, but you would never guess given the content of his music.
Jan 16, 2016 He said making music about drugs is popular that's why he does it It sounds sketch but like people have said he is trying to gain custody of his kid. And people seem to forget he's been rapping about the same s--- for over half a decade.
Jan 16, 2016 Happens often. Like all of the people who condemned Drake for mentioning Robitussin in a bar
Jan 16, 2016 He's lying, it's a front for the custody battle. You gonna tell me the man who made this is not a drug addict?
Jan 16, 2016 Codeine Crazy is one of the best songs ever to me though, it's one of the few non-chopped songs that amplifies your body high the same way chopped music does.
Jan 16, 2016 I don't know, when a song of this caliber is made, it just seems very personal and for a lack of a better word, real. It's so genuine, he knows he has a problem and I really think that interview was just him fronting because of the whole Future Jr situation. I really hate to sound like I'm trying to defend his drug habits/addiction but some of his songs in the past year show to me at least that he recognizes his problem but can't fight it.
Jan 16, 2016 I've been pointing out on this board for months that future doesn't do a quarter of the drugs he raps about. he's in great shape. but this is definitely a custody thing. like any other aspect of someone's life, it's rooted in truth but exaggerated for his music, i'm sure.
Jan 16, 2016 Well he could just be a really good actor? Even tho he can't act like he knows how to play keys but he gets A for emotion and effort.
