Jan 11, 2015 I've been using the Apple headphones since the beginning of time and I never really had any problem with them.
Apr 19, 2015 Hey, Could anyone recommend me a good pair of headphones. I currently have Boomphones phantoms, but I would like something better if possible.
Apr 19, 2015 Are you looking for anything in particular or basically anything better than the ones you already own?
Apr 19, 2015 Something better and smaller in size maybe compare to phantoms. Still over ear ones tho. Cool, ill check out audio technica ones. I tried street by 50, wasn't really blown away
Apr 19, 2015 These are a pair I have. I've had them for a good year, maybe a bit longer and they are still in great condition and the quality is amazing. The sound is honestly so clear too.
Jan 22, 2016 I have Logitech Z506 Speakers Jaybird Bluebuds X Audio Technica ATH-M50x (just actually bought a skin for my headphones) Spoiler: Headphone Skin but yeah how do you listen to your music?
Jan 22, 2016 still just skull candy earbuds 99% of the time, and i produce everything with them too. they sound amazing and they're cheap as s---
Jan 23, 2016 Well I use: - Skullcandy Navigators - V-Moda XS - Audio Technica ATH-M50x (I see you're a MKBHD fan) - Apple Ear buds for exercise
Jan 23, 2016 >Argon 7460A speakers with an Argon SUB10 (10" Sub) >ATH-M50x headphones >AT-LP1240 turntable with AT95E cartridge
Jan 23, 2016 In comparison to any other earbuds/headphones I've ever tried out, including beats. They have a nice crisp sound to them and great bass. I can hear every detail in songs and do my production work with them.
Jan 23, 2016 Except there's no way they can play sub bass frequencies. Beats are garbage too. Edit: If you're serious about your production work, get something with a flat frequency response. Your work is going to sound like garbage to anyone who doesn't have a similar freq response to your earbuds.
Jan 23, 2016 Uh, that's sort of bs because they absolutely do. I can hear bass nice and clear and feel the pressure of it when it hits in my ears with them. It's like a have f---ing speakers and a subwoofer in my head listening on these. I don't doubt it would be easier to work on something nicer as far as the process goes, but it's honestly not necessary at this point with all that i've learned to just go drop hundreds of dollars on professional headphones (especially since it's mostly just a price tag). Or you know it might sound fine for the most part. Good mixing/mastering/eqing, all that, means stuff can be played on anything and pretty much sound the same. And with me frequently comparing my work to popular songs, getting feedback over the years and understanding more and more about how to do all of it, and playing them through multiple sources to double and triple check my work, I highly doubt it's sounding like garbage. I don't hear much of a difference playing my music through my phone nowadays and my earbuds (aside from obvious lack of low-end on the phone), and speakers generally play everything about the same unless some of my EQ's were off (which i then fix and were likely just from tired ears more than anything).
