He'd take the L drop Views & most of the general public would eventually forget/move on. But the boy is allergic to L's so these kind of hypothetical questions are irrelevant. :drakehlb:

What I'm saying is even if Meek CLEARLY clowned Drake, it wouldn't matter because Drake fans will back his every move

Drake's pretty much a pop act at this point so beefing him's gonna be pretty much impossible, most of his fanbase will never care about him getting destroyed in a diss track since they're not really hip hop fans

Meek's fault. Drake stayed away from social media and released 2 songs while Meek just fired off tweets. Then released a hilariously bad track too late.

Drake won and if you disagree then idk what to tell u but like I said, social media won it more for Drake than what he did himself

Nah if Meek had the better diss tracks it would have definitely hurt Drake significantly.

I remember seeing someone on the youtube comments on Wanna Know wrote the hottest Drake diss ever. If Meek came with some of them bars he would be the king of W's

At the end of the day people just care about the music. I think 50 won the Ross beef overall but Ross was putting out bangers at the time so him being a correctional officer didn't really hurt him because people don't really care about that stuff. If Meek had won people would still listen to Drake. Drake never hate street cred to begin with, he just makes good music.

...and while B2B wasn't a high caliber diss track "Trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers, you getting bodied by a singing n-----" was a great line and that's what you'll remember from that boring beef Meek created.

Back to back & Charged Up >>>>>> Wanna Know

Drake won. He came into this as a clear under dog and won.

The murder inc. vs Shady Records beefs were media oriented too. Benzino making the source give all shady affiliated projects s-----y reviews, posting little comic pictures of Eminem in women cloths then XXL got in on it on Em & 50's side etc. I don't ever see people claiming that was a "media war" though.

That's because that beef gave us some of the best diss records we've ever heard, but I understand the point you're trying to make.

i don't think the quality of diss tracks had anything to do with my point though. My point is that media has played a big part in d--- near every single major rap beef throughout the 2000's. To say that Drake didn't win this feud, the media won it for him is just reaction to all the praise Drake has received in the last 6 months. People are sick of it and I can understand that but you can't just re-write history lol. Drake doesn't win this feud without putting out back to back.

Oh and to answer OP, I think the main difference had Drake lost is that he would have let it go. He wouldn't have carried it on for 6 months after it was done. Also I don't think people would have been that shocked either. Everyone knows meek's battling background so people would have just been like "good job, you did what you were supposed to do."

Meek has been sitting on godlike songs for a while now... Him taking multiple L's was necessary in creating a bigger impact when DC4 drops. Now when it drops instead of people being like "another classic dreamchasers from meek!" they'll be saying s--- like "I love drake and want to succ him, but Meek's tape so flame emoji I don't even like Drake anymore"

    DC4 coming soon.

If meek won, no one would let Drake get away with a hit song anymore without accusing him of having a ghostwriter. The only reason people forgot the ghostwriting thing was because he won the beef
