    Breakdown:
Narsh quoted you, and I've already heard your inertia stuff before.

Anyway, I am looking forward to your piece on Views. Maybe you'll like it!

so you disagree that drake is the beneficiary of his too-big-to-fail corporate backing?

I disagree that his music has become stagnant. If that were the case and he still received critical acclaim id question it.

i believe that his music is very stagnant, but that's not part of the argument i'm making. Views will be critically bulletproof regardless of how good or how middling it is.

    Comercially bulletproof? Absolutely.

But Drake isn't Eminem. If he releases a subpar album, I don't think people will overlook that

And that's where we part ways. We hear different things when we listen to Take Care and Nothing Was the Same.

Nah. He's released good to great albums. At the very least they sound great even if the subject matter gets a little old. I don't count IYRTITL or What a Time to be Drake "albums" tho

How people genuinely consider Drake albums anything but a moment to monetize on rap is depressing to hear.

TC & NWTS were both fantastic. He's been a mixed bag of styles since late 2014, and gave us 2 good projects this year out of the blue. I just feel like at this point in his career, an album about his hometown is in can't miss territory.

@Mike Tyson Do you feel like he's hit his peak? TC is obviously his best work to date, but I think he's better in a different way in 2015. Hard to explain.
