Sep 1, 2016 Honestly, it's the old hip hop heads that wreck it for me. s--- like this: Even though I know Garnet is a troll that secretly bumps Lil Boat at least 6 days a week, it seems like a requirement of liking 90's rap means calling today's music trash and you can miss me with that negativity #AllPositiveVibes Oh, and Illmatic is trash
Sep 1, 2016 It became polarizing due to resentment by later generations. If you lived through and listened to Rap in the 90s, you probably enjoyed it. If you didn't and grew up in the 2000's hearing people wax nostalgic about it, you probably hated it depending on your music preferences (there are obviously lots of younger people who love the 90s as there are people who hated it).
Sep 1, 2016 True but fans who only listen to trap rappers saying old rap sucks are just as dumb lol. Just appreciate both even if you are not a fan of one of the 2
Sep 1, 2016 I'm beginning to feel that a lot of the 90's albums sound dated now tho. But there are still many albums from that era that I f--- with
Sep 1, 2016 Yeah s--- like this is just bait tho, mentioning the best album from the 90's lol. Also it's fun knowing these are the guys calling it trash lmao
Sep 1, 2016 We've lived through the transition. s--- was the same when movies became talkies and any other major shift in art/culture.
