The biggest upset for me and probably the most heartbreaking moment of my life was Game 7 of The Leafs vs Bruins in 2013.

Leafs were up 4-1, (being down practically the whole series) Bruins tied the game last minute then scored in OT. I was in shambles

Like you were literally upset or it was an upset? B's were favored pretty heavy in that series and were close to winning the Cup that year.

Pats 18-1 would fit both categories

It was an upset for most leafs fans because literally a 4-1 lead so close to a second round. Leafs havent seen any success in many years so to have our hopes up like that and for it to come crashing down like it did was extremely saddening

So many great/bad memories as a Boston sports fan.

    Positive upsets?

Patriots beating the Rams in Super Bowl 36. Amazing. I didn't give them a shot at all lol.
Red Sox coming back, down 0-3 to the Yankees in 2004.

    Negative upsets?

f---ing Super Bowl 42. Worst loss ever. Still not over it.

phaneuf in that game tho :laff: still remember it

for me it was 2006, the edmonton oilers make a cinderella run as an 8th seed all the way to the stanley cup finals. in game one of that series, we lose our best player, our goalie to injury

and then lose the game on a miscue between the D and the back up goalie who had to step in

still had the resolve to come back and force a game 7 with a backup goalie, but ultimately lost.

heart breaker, haven't made the playoffs ever since. the last time i saw the oilers play in the playoffs was june 2006. george bush was still president, just half way through his second term. wow

Pats played so awful that game. Could've been a complete blow out if f---ing Crumpler could catch a ball, or if Brady doesn't throw a f---ing interception on a screen lol.

Our defense s----d that year though.

I cried when Portugal knocked England out of the '06 World Cup on penalties

What was even worse was that fact Ronaldo scored the winning penalty & he played for United back then, who I support

Hardly, people were jumping on the bandwagon before halfway through the season. And they were objectively playing the best football throughout the season, so them winning was the frankly just par for the course by that point.

hmmmm being a fan of the vikings for longer than i can remember.....there are plenty to pick from........but the biggest upset would be when we lost to the falcons in the 1998 season

Kobe's mortality coming to surface after his Achilles injury. Dude had so much more left in his tank if it weren't for that injury.
