I'll be graduating high school in June. As of right now, no college. I might go to trade school down the line but I'm gonna be working for the first few years after graduation.

Are you serious lol? Did you read anything from that giant post of mine or did you completely gloss over EVERYTHING.

If I didn't care and didn't want to succeed I wouldn't constantly pour hundreds of hours into a project like I did for the past 8 months, or the 3 months before that, or the couple months I'll most likely be putting into my current project or the one I'm already brainstorming for after that. I wouldn't have paid hundreds in ad campaigns, or tried to submit to blogs, I also wouldn't promote my s--- regularly on different platforms and upload it basically everywhere possible, I wouldn't have reached out to CA in the first place, or being trying to get features to reach more people. I know I wouldn't spend my time bettering my music and combing over it all to try and improve it and make it more accessible and more listenable for other people, I wouldn't do any of this if I had 'no real desire to succeed at it'.

No, people have given advice that is either pretty much useless or bad. And as for what CA gave me I took what I could of it and tried to run with it and let it go that I wasn't going to get any more help on that front, and I couldn't get anywhere with it. I can't do anything with the list on my own, so it's not useful. I tried to produce for his friend and it turned out awful, and I never got the chance to work with the other guy because contact was never made.

Well aware, but when you ask for help, and then they stop short right when you need it most (leaving you in the same circumstances as when you started), it's sort of frustrating as f---.

I have tried that, and I did submit a few things, but it went absolutely nowhere, and my emails were s--- still.

I have done literally everything for my music up till this point BY MYSELF, but I'm hitting a limit on that and there are just some things I just can't do. I've never had a way with words, and I had to seriously wrack my brain for the blog submissions and that bio (99% of it I didn't even write because I couldn't). I obviously have really bad communications skills so properly conveying my thoughts for stuff like submissions to people and blogs is near impossible. I need help with this stuff. What about this is not getting through, I don't know, but clearly no one is actually understanding.

Maybe u are being realistic but ur focusing on the wrong things.

Well, find out who to talk to. Go on facebook and find out small electronic performances in colombus. Maybe get in touch with their management find out any info that might be helpful to u. Go to the show socialize with other people there, keep doing this.
Once this is done a 4 hour bike ride is nothing.
Just letting u know this attitude will get u nowhere.

this is why im trying to cop a cheap camera and start filming music videos for local artists next year. gotta start somewhere. i have 0 experience with editing, or filming really. just know its what i want to do and that i wouldnt be half bad
