Dec 6, 2015 it was a pick up truck. but when he gets out of it.. he still 6'4" 265 Eminem is 5'8" 150.. even today suge could fold him up like a pretzel. but if we go back to when after encore came out and they say Eminem weighed 230 he might have a chance. but i think that number is exaggerated a lot.. Marshall would have some big a--- man boobs to protect him
Dec 6, 2015 im not nitpicking at all there's nothing wrong with that line. i just like to repeat it overly dramatically. not criticizing it at all.
Dec 6, 2015 kind of maybe arguable for 4th but 3rd..?? Encore is not better than SSLP, MMLP, or TES.. but hey you do you
Dec 6, 2015 Which songs? Normally I would say wtf but I know you're a good poster and a fellow Jay fan so I'll have this discussion
Dec 6, 2015 Never Enough, Yellow Brick Road. Like Toy Soldiers, Spend Some Time, Encore(title), Mockingbird, Love You More, Ricky Ticky Toc, We As Americans. I'd take those 10 songs over any TES song( except Say Goodbye Hollywood) any day.
Dec 6, 2015 I have to say, I agree about We As Americans.. and to an extent Yellow Brick Road. But other than that I prefer Till I Collapse, Hailies Song etc over Encore's songs
Dec 6, 2015 LTS is a good song with a message where Em actually had something to say. Granted, following the mixtape songs that had preceded Encore in 2003, that gave us such tracks as Bump Heads, Hail Mary remix, Doe Rae Me, etc. and then hearing Bully and Monkey See Monkey Do from the leaked Straight from the Lab, I don't think anyone was anticipating a song with a message of Toy Soldiers to be what Em was going to come with. Especially when, on Monkey See Monkey Do, Em rapped "there's a lot of rappers on my list, it just ain't Ja/ and I'ma read that MFer off come April"....now I can't speak for anybody else but I took that to mean that Em was going to come with something on his next release to go at a few heads. Yes I know that Encore did not release until the following fall, but who knows what project he may have been referring to for April. Even leading up to Encore's release, I remember reading how people in his circle said that Em was going to address all the beefs on Encore. Plus with coming off the heels of 8 Mile, I think many just anticipated Em dropping a bomb of some sort on Encore. But then he gave us Toy Soldiers... Interestingly enough, he included Ricky Ticky Toc on the bonus disc which, although easily the most fire track he spit on all of Encore, basically contradicts a lot of what he said in Toy Soldiers. I wonder when both songs were recorded. Toy Solders: I'll walk away from it all before I let it go any further.... Ricky Ticky Toc: I'm waiting for that next beef, I'm cocked, locked, and loaded....
