lol white claws came out last year I think. They're basically hard seltzers that come in different flavors. 100 calories a can but a nice 5% surprisingly. Had to switch to them so I didn't get the Covid 15

Ha I like them. You really don't taste the alcohol and they get the job done

I love to collect kabuki masks. I am very much inspired by the Japanese Kabuki theater. There are different types of kabuki masks including Noh, Oni, kitsune, fox, Okame, Hannya etc You can read about kabuki's origin and history. Next I'll collect the Japanese dolls and armors stuff.

    houseplants. Its a stupid hobby.
    - but plant > buy pretty pot
    - plant grows - buy new nursery pot - bigger decorative pot
    - but second & third plant - buy two new decorative plants
    - buy potting soil, pumice, perlite, charcoal, sphagnum moss, orchid bark, stones
    - buy bigger nursery pots
    - buy more plants
    - propagate
    - buy more decorative pots
    - propping plants need to be potted buy more nursery pots
    - buy plant from store, $30. It was over watered, in the bin a week later
    - new plant $30. new nursery pot\, new decorative pot

edit - and the you get pests. make sure the hundreds you spent dont go to waste.
    - buy sticky traps
    - buy iso alcohol
    - buy neem oil

    - so much time, omg so much time. repotting, depesting, dusting, watering

Its an ongoing, ever growing, never stopping expense. But I cant stop

i've bought myself a mountain bike. Every time i don't have enough air in my flat (wife, child, you know what i mean) i go for a nice long ride. We definitely increased the screen time for the last few months (here i also have a new device - firestick https://www.firesticktricks.com/install-best-vpn-firestick.html, wasn't interested in that before at all). I would like to say i started to read or/and do lots of sports, but somehow i have more time but less energy. Podcasts is also a new thing in my life (not sure i can call it a hobby).

Yeah you can. Good for you with the bike. I stopped cycling because of lockdown so I'm trying to get back into it before I return to work in a few weeks.

Good bike or just a run-around? I'm in central London and I've had 3 bikes stolen since March 2020. So not going to spend a lot of money on a bike but I'd love to!

    Tomato, tomato really.

Petty crime around here is bonkers. But don't forget, I live RIGHT in the center. Can't imagine it's much safer in Warsaw?

BMC two stroke. Probably my best bike so far. Wouldn't leave it chained somewhere in a city definitely. Long time ago i watched a show, where they where checking different bike locks, and how long do you need to break them. I think the most difficult one was broken in 2 minutes:emoji_thinking:.

I've got a Kryptonite lock which seems a huge deterant. First bike I had stolen was my fault, I didn't chain it up properly, second was my fault as well. I cycled further than usual and was knackered as I wasn't used to cycling and I struggled to lock it up properly and ended up saying "f--- it, it'll be fine for one night". Boy was I wrong...

Third bike a coach driver fell asleep at the wheel at 3am and drove into my bike and an electric car charging point. Had it all on CCTV from the building next to where I live. They couldn't give me CCTV, they had to give it to the police. The police said they had more important issues to deal with and closed the case and the coach company said I couldn't make an insurance claim unless they saw the CCTV. So that one pissed me off!

Couple of days ago someone stole just the front brake disc. Pricks. That's another £30 spent.

They save me a lot of money on travel but I swear I end up spending more on buying random bits that get stolen!

There is so much free stuff which people give away these days. Especially in London. I lived next to Alexandra park for some time and our neighborhood was always full of things people just give away (furniture, toys, bags, clothes) . I dont understand the point to steel the front brake disc... really. makes no sense at all.

Pretty sure it was the Deliveroo g--- that hangs out next to my place. I hadn't used the bike since at least December and when I unlocked it one of them came up to me and said "is that your bike? It's been a long time. Someone wanted me to steal it". He's lucky he didn't get knocked the f--- out there and then.

I like to compliment strangers- elderly individuals with brightly coloured hair, little kids that obviously dressed themselves or have unique style, anyone that catches my eye really... It takes zero effort to make someone feel good about themselves for even a moment.

Also not touching the black tiles while walking.

Gonna get made fun of for this, but gardening is nice. Something about starting from seed and watching it grow into fruit/veggies is rewarding. And yes, food you grow yourself tastes wayyyyy better than store-bought produce. Harvesting at peak ripeness is king.

Started with some bell peppers grown in soil but recently got into hydroponics. Something about going against the rules of nature and seeing the differences compared to soil-growth is fascinating. Cilantro and basil are what I’ve grown so far. Gotta get a dwc pump so I can start tomatoes and peppers, because the kratky method (non oxygenated water) will stagnate the growth of longer lifespan plants.

And no, hydroponics doesn’t mean im growing weed too lol.
