Oct 5, 2016 Serious question - with all these Kanye leaks from 2010-up era shouldn't SOMEBODY have this? It was used for a Fight Camp promo for f---s sakes. How is it possible that this song never got a proper release or a full leak? Did Dre wipe the full version off the face of the Earth? & why is Nut Up more requested than this? (Video it debuted in) (Best quality snippet out there)
Oct 5, 2016 Simple answer. Die Hard was a track for Detox. Detox was scrapped for Compton. Don't expect it anytime soon. And by soon, I mean at least the next 200 years
Oct 5, 2016 another Em leak season would be cool but it's HIGHLY unlikely. Especially Die Hard. It's like they got that locked down pretty hard. lots of that s--- we'll never hear. Hey Young World for example
Oct 5, 2016 Yeah agree nut up is a s--- gay unfunny meme that probably pisses Koolo off more than anything. Probably didn't leak cause I just don't think there's as much appeal for Dre/Em where as with Kanye it so much love/hate a sound engineer would steal the song just for the sake of saying "I have an unreleased Yeezy song" Like from a business perspective I'm just thinking I could sell a Kanye song piss easy, where as die hard, I'd be dealing with acne ridden teens that Stan Eminem and will offer me 2 Monster energy drinks and 15 bucks for the song.
Oct 5, 2016 I refuse to believe this song only was kept on a hard drive in Dre's basement somewhere, Flight Camp's editing crew had to have been given the full version in order to have made that video in the first place, very surprised nobody from that leaked it
Oct 5, 2016 Yeah I assumed itd leak within a week of it airing. Cause it's a trailer and fucken som1 had to edit the full song in, then alter the volume/mix it so it woukd fit to the commercial. Worst case I'd say was it was a 2 min unfinished song.
Oct 5, 2016 There is some interview from MMLP2 era, Em said he is pretty secure about his music and doesn't let anyone else take care of it's privacy other than himself
Oct 6, 2016 Die Hard is powerful af .. But like Pyrex or Young World, we will never have these tracks
Oct 6, 2016 Sounds like one of the hundreds songs intended for Detox we'll never hear. He probably only sent that clip rather than the full song. It's possible we'll get a Dre "Straight From the Vault" type release down the road, but I'd be surprised if he did any more official album releases. Probably just random individual songs for Beats Radio. Totally unrelated, but a long time ago Dre was talking about a "Planets" album which sounded pretty interesting. Essentially he'd make a unique instrumental track for each planet. I always thought it would be cool if he followed through with that.
