Feb 10, 2017 Katy Perry debuted in 2008 and Bruno Mars in 2009. NFL seems to prefer older artists and not recent artists. Weeknd is 2013 which is too recent for the NFL unfortunately but NFL should not try to restrict their Super Bowl Halftime Show by focusing on older artists.
Feb 10, 2017 Though he is super big at this point... You can't remember a time where "I Can't Feel My Face" and "Starboy" dominated radio; in fact he is the biggest artist of this decade alongside Kendrick Lamar. Just my opinion, feel free to disregard.
