Mar 15, 2021 What I love about Canibus is his choice of words, the way he describes things is incredible and yeah, Vinnie been killing it since I remember
Mar 16, 2021 I get what you mean, just seems weird to lump Cam in with those other 3. Anyways, he's clearly miles ahead of them. I'd say followed by Sigel, then Jada, then Banks.
Mar 16, 2021 The older I get, the more I feel like Cam was actually the most charismatic and best lyricist/cadence-capper out of "Children of The Corn" (Even more so than the deceased Big L.). I also feel like he was the unofficial leader of the group. I know that's not how Hip-Hop Purists see it, but that's why it's time to shake s--- up with disrespectful takes (That I think will stand the test of time, at the end of the day.) over the old safe, and irrationally-inaccurate ones. And that's not to say Big L wasn't nice with it. Cam was just nicer. In my opinion. I prefer Cam. And I don't feel like Big L is a B-List emcee at all. A-List, all the way. Before he died, that was the case. Still is, posthumously.
Mar 16, 2021 I guess you could consider Cam a B list rapper cuz he's not a global superstar like Eminem, Drake, Kanye—but if he's B-list, the rest are C-list. Also clearly Cam is the best out of these dudes and it's not even close.
Mar 16, 2021 you guys are lunatics for putting banks anywhere but a distant fourth. he doesn’t belong in this discussion. for me it’s cam > kiss > beans.
Mar 16, 2021 Cam'ron is far better than most B-List rappers. He's developed himself an image, a unique flow, a unique sound and a following that stands to this very day. You'll be d---ed if there isn't anybody screaming out The Diplomats as one of their inspirations. Jadakiss is an admirable rapper with most of the same traits, he's not as unique but he puts 100 in his work so he's really much better than the likes of Beanie Sigel and Lloyd Banks Sure, Beanie and Lloyd have rhymes but they don't have anything unique to them, they're truly B-List rappers.
Mar 16, 2021 Is Lloyd Banks really on the same level as Camron? I mean I don't like either really... but Camron's songs played on the radio all the time and he had a whole crew. All I know about Lloyd Banks is he was one of the guys that was standing around when 50 Cent gave interviews in the mid 2000s.
Mar 16, 2021 Lloyd Banks one of those overrated for being excessively called underrated rappers like Fab and Big Sean
Mar 17, 2021 I think some of you are out of touch in regards to Banks catalogue. His mixtapes are top notch and he has one classic album (in my eyes). Yes Cam is a New York legend and his catalogue is good, but he can’t spit like Banks. Banks is very underrated. No doubt that Cam would get spun in a battle... it’s gonna be a hot summer LOL
