Gatsby obviously goat... For Arthur Miller, as far as being a playwright, tops is View from the Bridge. It's his rebuttal to On the Waterfront (which was a response to Miller's Crucible)

View from the Bridge was on Broadway this year. Got absolutely rave reviews. The script is quite long, but it's very good. I don't love it as much as his other big three, but definitely appreciate the brilliance.

My favorite writer is the person who wrote Crooked Hillary's economic plans. I've never read such an entertaining fantasy fiction piece in my life!

Is it possible to say who's your favourite writer while you only loved one book and it's sequel of them?

This series is the one I credit for getting me interested in books. I ate these b------s up in grade school. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Events defined my middle school years. I still love the voice Handler wrote that with. George Orwell's 1984 was a big deal, more so for the relationship and how it ends than its grander themes to be honest. The impact of that betrayal was a powerful emotional experience. Poetry wise, maybe Sylvia Plath whose novel The Bell Jar was also pretty great. Since high school, John Williams' Stoner is probably my favorite book that I've read. Ginsburg's Howl was a college freshman milestone.

On the editorial side, obviously Roger Ebert was the first film critic I started reading. Since his passing, it's been the staff of Slant Magazine (Ed Gonzalez especially) and the people over at Reverse Shot. Unfortunately, I started following The Dissolve shortly before they closed their doors for good. I've dug back through some of Jonathan Rosenbaum and Pauline Kael's stuff as well. There's an MMA writer named Jack Slack who does excellent write ups on technique. Oh, and Wikipedia. I've read so much random s--- from there over the years.

I've really slacked off in reading novels a lot since high school. I became more of a writer more than a reader and now I mainly write about movies instead of crafting more struggle bars.
