Jan 5, 2021 General question, you think its that impossible for some artists that have been in the studio recording things every single day to forget a line they wrote like 10-11 years ago? Especially if they never released it? Ik it may sound as an excuse but I dont think that for someone like em whos been constantly writing is that hard to not remember most of his lines that never made it to an actual song.
Jan 5, 2021 Idk, but the problem here is that casual fans don't really check if a song is old or new, so they may think it's something new.
Jan 5, 2021 Should he apologize to people? Idk man, that's his prerogative. If he feels the need to apologize, then so be it. That's just Eminem. One minute he's rapping: "No more beef lingers, no more drama from now on, I promise", and then the next he's rapping: "You'd swear to God I forgot I'm the guy that made "Not Afraid"". A wildly complex artist, always keeps you on the edge of your seat. Hip-Hop nowadays is soft as f--- anyway.
Jan 5, 2021 I think the Rihanna apology was good for PR reasons, especially in this day and age. Other than that, I don't think he needs to apologize to anyone.
Jan 6, 2021 I think the best solution would be for Eminem to join in for the BLM Remix. that would be much better than an apology.
Jan 6, 2021 I personaly would keep politics and religion out of Em's music. But... A Rockstar BLM remix by Em would have been dope, just like he should have hopped on FDT back then.
Jan 7, 2021 Yes, I think he should only apologize to his family. Apologize to daughter, mother, and ex-wife. But he definitely shouldn't apologize to Rihanna, she's just a pop singer.
Jan 7, 2021 She's another artist that he's cool with and has shown love for his music. You see all the hate he gets now? And all the people who use him for views and sales? If he has a nice "friendship" with Rih, it makes sense that he wants to keep it that way. And it's also good for Em to keep her around. They can make some good money together.
