Dre should have used it himself like he did with 'Kush' feat Akon and that other joint, it never really felt like a Kendrick track for whatever reason.

he's easily #1 on my list right now, but kendrick still has some to prove. if his upcoming album is on par with gkmc, then it's worth having this discussion. until then, it's unfortunately just hype & hope.

it aint just hype and hope...The dude is responsible for tons of dope material already, besides GKMC. Section 80 is a classic, and probably better than GKMC, and the EP and OD are very good mixtapes also. I don't know if you doubters have heard that new track Multiply on Colbert but he destroyed that, he sounds as good as ever.

of course i've heard it. and i'm certainly not a 'doubter' -- i'm just being real. i want his next album to succeed as bad as anyone else, but i think that needs to happen before he solidifies his place on top right now.

Well, the point is, what else does he have to prove?

Imo he's already put enough material out to be considered at the top. he's done enough. This album will be his third great album in a row after S80 & GKMC.

His new project will be anywhere from good to classic. Can't imagine it flopping.
