Jun 25, 2018 Can't recall anyone I knew that banged' bumping dust tbh, sorta like the homie @Skippy said only awkward kids and brown people like myself bump that idiot 69
Jun 25, 2018 yeah see this is what i think the difference is, it's like i got sum mates whoa re fresh outta jail so... i dunno its just something i been noticing recently. people who "arent about that life" tend to care a lot about the details and intricate things about music where as people who are "abotu that life" just want dumb s--- to laugh with/at while they do drugs. For example i know one guy who is like gandalf of rap and has some fucken stupid 14 terrabytes of rap music from 70's onwards or whatever. dude has never touched alcohol and has never been to a live performance cause he's scared he will "get a contact high from weed smokers" yah i beleive just before DS2 as he started getting a bit bigger i recall him being clowned as a lil wayne clone by em stans/reals whew we got some knowledge from fire squa well considering this and @Skippy post i dunno what it would be like over their, but it's kinda enforcing my point in a way. i know skippy is relativly up to date with hip hop/cares about it - so with all that knowledge is like "ye dude used to go church 2 yrs ago" or whatever s---. but it's not about 69 being real or fake, really. it's more to do with the listeners being real/fake. Now, i dunno how true this is, but I have heard apparently he was doin some twitch streaming? if that's true then i'd say like maybe 1/3rd of his views on youtube are actually 100% A-1 r-----ed fa---- s--- c----. I will give you that. But i dunno i see his vids for example and i'm like "that's legit every dealer in NY right there." (could be wrong). The way I see it now is the best comparison for 69's life is similar to Tupac. (not trolling hear me out all u f--- heads reading). Tupac at first wasn't much of a gangbanger, but did the whole move to cali and started rolling with g--- bangers sorta thing. I'm sure u can find plenty of people who were close to him at the time saying he was getting in over his head and that ultimately probably led to his downfall. at the time he was one of the hottest/highest charting/succesful artists and i honestly think 69 is in this almost exact position right now - he's rollin with NY bloods and all types of gangbangers and they're just on his side i guess u could say cause he makes bangers and is connected through treyway or whatever his label crew are (similar again to tupac with suge/death row afilliates etc). But so many people fucken hate 69 he's probably gonna get tupac'd. most interesting rapper we've had in a decade imo.
Jun 25, 2018 not familiar with tekashi or his fanbase apart from the chief keef baby mama video, but he wins by default because I can't imagine anyone less hard than real hip hop heads
Jun 25, 2018 @Coco see me and 69 come from a similar area in the Bronx, idk if my friends over there are lying but apparently they know the kid from years back and said he was just hustling on the corner and made friends with the right people. I absolutely agreed wit your observation, it's definitely an interesting situation and his attention grabbing does remind me of Pac's position in the Death Row days. As for who bumps him, that's open to discussion and just as a local NY goer, it's mostly the kids who bump him, or me trying to scare the white people on the sidewalk when I'm cruising by.
Jun 25, 2018 tfw ur aussie and a NY hip hop scientist agrees with your opinion/observation on a rapper
Jun 25, 2018 yeah no lie one time i was drunk in the uber with my mates and we screamed "SENDING SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS n----- THE THING GO RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH n-----" out the window and scared the s--- out of some people jogging, was GOAT. (we had a black south african in the car so it was ok to use the n word)
Jun 25, 2018 not even just extra knowledge @Coco like old heads don’t take him srs for the colored hair and new heads don’t f--- w him being pedo/beefing w better more revered rappers plus s--- like him recording that video like “chief keef wya” then some dude who lived there filmed him only standing out there for 10 seconds to record the video then running back in the car and dipping
Jun 25, 2018 If I'm being real, It's mindless music, not something I'd spend hours dissecting on a hiphop forum and making it more than what it actually is. But godamm none of that matters when the bass in your car creating literal earthquakes on the pavement and the skrkrrraaahhh sounds scaring the public to death
Jun 25, 2018 that's part of his like persona though, he's a legit troll/shitposter. The coloured hair thing is a tactic, cause people see that and go "Wtf is this garbage" later that night... "oi fellaz did u hear about this tekashi sixty nines? fucken rainbow haired gremlin" and now 10 people have heard of tekashi, u feel? it's like i being the music connoisseur i am dismissed his gremlin rainbow head a--- the moment i saw him. but my mate played billy in discord when we were last 10 alive in fortnite and i got like 3-4 kills and we won, i was a fan the moment i heard his song but str8 up, i am going with what @Fire Squad said abotu his homies in the area... like the billy video is some unreal s--- and him riding his red SUV thru NY is something i'd say. i know his affiliates are 100% in the streets/connected
Jun 25, 2018 also i think the pedo s--- is done. like he got officially charged with distributing child pronography because he sent a nude pic of this chick whos ent him a pic to his friend or some such. he's fightint the charge saying he didn't know she was underage. dunno if that was finished or not but he's not a pedo lol
Jun 25, 2018 People who define themselves by the year of hip hop they listen to exclusively are too insecure and desperate to fit in somewhere to be hard.
Jun 25, 2018 @joeyp363 has definitely caught an assault charge for getting drunk and moshing too hard at a Kris kaliko show
