    but all this means is “didn’t put pen to paper”. they ~wrote~ in the sense everything was structured and premeditated.

    re: wayne...he did some of everything, conventional writing, recording a few bars at a time, and freestyling straight through. a lot of drought 3 is very clearly one train of unbroken thought

    It's the opposite. When Jay and Biggie were working on Brooklyn's Finest, Biggie saw that Jay didn't write and decided to stop writing
